Dog Language

Can a dog talk? Naturally not. But dogs can express their thoughts with behavioral actions.

If you can read it, then you have the “exclusive function” of communicating with the dog.

Communication is a natural instinct. As long as you are careful, get along with your dog and observe it more, you will be able to master the “extraordinary function” of communicating with your own dog.

How to control the dog’s food intake?

Controlling the dog’s food intake is to let dogs’ intake equal to the account of food you feed it but not how much food it want. Scientific feeding needs manual control, and the owner’s full understanding of his dog.

Dogs are usually very awkward and often don’t know they’re already full. Especially for good food, it will never eat enough. Although it will not sustain itself like goldfish, eat too much will cause indigestion in dog, such as vomiting and diarrhea.

So, as a master, what should we do to control the dog’s food intake? Should we count the number of dog food we feed every day? In fact, we just need to follow the principle of feeding according to the dog’s constitution.

Before the dog is 8 months old, it is in a growing period. During this time you should follow the principle of small meals. If you do not know how much the dog eats, you can let the dog eat enough once and remember the quantity. Next time, eighty percent of this quantity is enough.

After eight months, the bone growth has stabilized and if the dog is found to be fat, it is necessary to control the quantity of food. If its account of exercise is normal and there is no gain in weight, you doesn’t need to worry about your dog too much.

For aging dogs, the digestive ability will worsen and the appetite will worsen, either. So controlling the amount of food is relatively easy for the old dog.

It should be noted that although a dog recovering from a serious illness needs more nutrition to restore his constitution, he or she should not blindly add food.

In particular, after a dog is sterilized, its food intake will begin to increase, and more attention should be paid to avoiding the obesity.

Do You Know “Husky”?

The Husky is a primitive ancient breed that lives in northeastern Siberia and southern Greenland.

Husky is a general name for a sled-type of dog used in northern regions, differentiated from other sled-dog types by their fast pulling style. The name “Husky” derives from its unique croaking sound.

Huskies are an ever-changing cross-breed of the fastest dogs. Huskies have mercurial temperament, some of them are extremely timid, while some are extreme violent.

After entered the mainland or owners’ families, they have no such extreme personalities. They are docile and are kept as pets all over the world now. Husky, Golden Retriever and Labrador are tied for the three non-attacking dogs.

The Alaskan Malamute, by contrast, is “the largest and oldest of the Arctic sled dogs,” and was used for heavier loads.

Huskies are used in sled dog racing. In recent years, companies have been marketing tourist treks with dog sledges for adventure travelers in snow regions as well.

Huskies are energetic and athletic. They usually have a thick double coat that can be gray, black, copper red, or white.

Their eyes are typically pale blue, although they may also be brown, green, blue, yellow, or heterochromic. Huskies are more prone to some degree of uveitis than most other breeds.

An Introduction for the Ragdoll

The Ragdoll, which originated in the United States, is a hybrid breed with blue  eyes and a plush distinct colorpoint coat.

It is one of the largest and heaviest cats in  existence. Like all  long haired cats, Ragdolls need grooming to ensure its fur does not mat. It is recommended Ragdolls are given baths once a month.

Their heads are wedge-shaped, and the eyes are large and round. Ragdolls are rich in hair and have long, fleshy limbs. The tail is long, and the body is soft, and they have three hair color patterns: colorpoint, mitted, and bicolor.

Ragdolls come in six different colors: red, seal, chocolate and the corresponding “dilutes”, including blue, lilac, and cream. This also includes the lynx and tortoiseshell variations in all colors and the three patterns. Ragdoll kittens are born white, they have good color at 8–10 weeks and full color and coat at 3–4 years.

Developed by American breeder Ann Baker in the 1960s, it is best known for their docile and placid temperament and affectionate nature. They are friendly to people and other animals.

The name “Ragdoll” is derived from the tendency of individuals from the original breeding stock to go limp and relaxed when picked up.

Particularly popular in both the United Kingdom and United States, Ragdolls often are known as “dog-like cats” or “puppy-like cats” due to behaviors such as their tendency to follow people around, their ease at being stroked, and their relative lack of aggression toward other pets.

A special appearance and gentle disposition are one of the biggest features of Ragdolls.
